Expected to work after hours is in few situations
Essential Job Functions:
· Answer questions and resolve computer problems in a timely and effective manner.
· Handle online help desk tickets utilizing over-the-phone guidance or remote accessing computer.
· Answer calls from service desk phone queue environment.
· Excellent customer service and clear written and verbal communication required.
· Observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
· Maintain records of transactions, problems, and actions taken.
· Escalate issues as necessary.
· Maintain knowledge of updates and improvements of applications, operating systems and desktop hardware.
· Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
Ability to communicate in English with individuals at all levels in the Company in an articulate, professional manner. Excellent English oral and written communication skills required.
4 to 6 years of related experience required.
Relevant IT certifications preferred.
Expert knowledge of Microsoft O365.
Expert knowledge of Windows and MAC operating systems required.
Expert knowledge of Active Directory.
Expert knowledge of Virtual Desktop troubleshooting.
Expert knowledge of VPN.
Excellent customer service skills.
Technical and analytical proficiency.
Ability to work well with remote users and team members.
Strong working knowledge of the desktop computer.
Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware issues and find solutions.
Ability to multi-task and maintain high level of customer service.
Ability to be reliable and work independently with little supervision.
Ability to multitask effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
